Yvonne is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore (CA), Accredited Tax Practitioner (Income tax) and a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) who completed her Master in Taxation with Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) previously known as SIM University.
Having been in the teaching industry for more than 20 years, Yvonne has developed her unique diagrammatic approach to impart complex tax concepts which has helped many students in understanding the tax rules which are evolving in view of the changing tax environment.

In addition, through her constant reminder of “You are the tax consultant” in her delivery of ATX lessons and her “questioning approach”, she is able to guide students to analyse and evaluate different tax scenarios and at the same time apply scepticism and commercial acumen so as to demonstrate the professional qualities of a tax consultant. These qualities are now embedded into the ATX syllabus which awards 20 professional marks in the examination.
